Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020
Good morning everyone! It is Wednesday and all middle and high school students should be in their core classes today.
The Coupeville Middle School’s Yearbook elective will be starting on December 8th. It will meet on Tuesday & Thursday from 1-2 pm. If you are interested in joining this elective, please email Mrs. Dix by Friday, 12/4, so that you can be placed on the class list. Then watch for an invitation to the CMS Yearbook Google Classroom. Hope to see you there, Mrs. Dix.
Attention seniors: the counseling department wants to hear from you. Many of you
are starting to get college acceptance letters. Please send an email to Mr. Cruz and
Miss Cheyenne Beck When you receive an acceptance letter from a college,
program or the military. We want to celebrate you and need this information for
Senior activities.
Attention students and parents, a reminder that for the safety of students and staff,
the MS and HS buildings are closed at this time. This week, we will have someone in
the office from approximately 9:00-2:00 to assist in material pickup. We will adjust
hours next week as needed.
How many of you have thought about what you want to be doing in five years? Ten
years? Twenty years? What do you see yourself doing? The world is changing
rapidly, and your options are unlimited. Did you know that the top 10 in-demand
jobs this year didn’t exist in 2008? Did you know that when you enter the job market
you will be using technology that has not been invented yet in order to solve
problems we don’t even know are problems yet? What an exciting time. Take
advantage of your opportunities at school to learn, to discover what you’re good at
and to figure out what you love.
We are recording daily attendance in our live classes on Skyward. Live classes are
an extremely important part of distance learning, and we need you there! If you feel
you were marked absent incorrectly, don’t worry, have your parent or guardian call
or email Mrs. Ford.
Lastly, you received an email with a free tutoring service from our local library.
Brainfuse is free online tutor that you can request help from. Check your emails for
that information.

Words of Wisdom...
This is Mrs. Crebbin with a few words of wisdom.
Someone wise once said:
"The way we build a better tomorrow is by building better people today."
And how do we do that? Listen to these words from English theologian, John Wesley:
"We do all the good we can, By all the means we can, In all the ways we can, In all the places we can, At all the times we can, To all the people we can, As long as ever we can."
Remember, today and everyday can be a new beginning. Be especially good to yourself and others, and together we can build a better tomorrow.
With something to think about, this is Mrs. Crebbin. Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.
