Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Good morning and happy Tuesday everyone.

You will hear these two reminders from me everyday...please remember to bring your Chromebook and charger everyday.

Remember our health protocols are in place to keep you all safe and you are required to comply with them at all times when you are on campus.

Good luck to our HS boys soccer team traveling to Mt. Vernon Christian today.

High School Seniors, do not wait until the last minute to complete your scholarship paperwork. Doing so could exclude you from great opportunities.

Thank you to those who stopped by Sunshine Drip yesterday for the Shop Out 4 Kids event...Plan ahead for the next one! It is May 5th, Cinco de Mayo at Bayleaf.

CMHS Dad Joke of the Day:

Why did the broom decide to go to bed? He was getting sweepy.

Words of Wisdom...

This is Mr. Kappes with a few words of wisdom.

Have you ever thought about being an astronaut or a lawyer or a doctor and then you said to yourself, "I could never do that. I'm not smart enough; or I'm not good enough."

Listen to Dr. Carmen Escalante's prescription for success:

Nothing is impossible if one sets goals,

strives for and does his best.

So who is Dr. Escalante? She's a medical doctor who was raised in a small town in Louisiana and was the oldest of six children. Neither of her parents graduated from high school, but they always encouraged her to get an education. She listened to her parents and grew up to become a doctor at one of the world's most famous cancer centers. This is what she tells young people:

You can do whatever you want to do. Nothing is impossible.

So listen to the doctor's advice and follow her prescription for success. If you do, anything's possible.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Kappes. Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.
