Good morning CMHS and welcome to day 2. I hope you all had an...interesting and

exciting first day. I know there were some tech issues out there but I assure you our

teams are working hard to be sure any of those issues are smoothed out as quickly

as possible.

A reminder to the parents...Please have your child log in through the shared Google

Form in their email. This is very important so we can record your child as attending

school to the State of Washington. I will send this form every weekday at about 7:45.

It is very important that they complete and submit this form to get credit!

I hope you all were able to make your first round of live classes. CMS this is just an

engagement day, where you have to work on classwork but NOT attend any live

sessions. Your teachers are available during their office hours for help if you need it.

HS students today is your elective day! You will be attending those classes live, but

remember you may have some work to complete for your core classes too.

I had a few questions about classes that we called independent study, online

engagement, or academic time. Those are all just really space fillers in our system

so we can be prepared for our eventual return to normal school! You have no

requirements for those at all.

We now have 3 neighborhood hotspots up and running. They are located in Sierra,

Rolling Hills, and Admiral’s Cove neighborhoods. You received an email from Mrs.

Bumgarner about passwords. Please feel free to use these hotspots if you need.

CMHS Dad Joke of the Day:

Why did the banana go to the doctor?

He wasn’t peeling well....

Cheese shop exploded...

Da Brie was everywhere.
