Good morning and welcome to week 4!
MS and HS students you have your live core classes today.
Today starts our Daily Announcements daily prize...I am going to email you a
specific question about today’s announcements later today. If you reply with the correct answer, your name will be entered into a drawing. If your name is pulled, you
will win a reward of some kind...it might be a gift card to a Coupeville business, a t
shirt or other CMHS themed gear...or something else! What an easy way to be
rewarded...and get credit for attendance too. You have to have your attendance
form submitted to qualify.
I want to remind you all one more time about Race the Reserve, the great yearly
fundraiser for our Senior class! It was in danger of not happening due to Covid...but
this year it will be virtual! Thats right, the Race the Reserve Virtual event is still open!
You can run anywhere, anytime. Run 5k, 10k, a half marathon, a marathon, or as far
as you want! Thats right, I guess you could even run from the couch to the fridge
and still be supporting our Senior class. The cost is only $45 and you’ll receive a bib,
medal, T-shirt and swag bag.
Most importantly, proceeds go to support the Coupeville HS 2021 Seniors and their
graduation week activities and scholarships. This is a unique year to be a Senior, so
let's support them as best we can! Without this event and the proceeds it provides to
these students, many would be unable to participate. Students, parents, staff
members, family pets, neighbors...everyone can support our Seniors this year! Lets
show them some love as they move to graduation!
To register, go to racethereserve.com
Remember...if you think you have personal belongings that you left last spring,
please give us a call and we will see if we have it! All items will go to charity at the
end of the week.
CMHS Dad Joke of the Day:
If you say gullible really slow it sounds like orange.
And now...you may notice things look a little different today...everything is drawn like
a work of art...well that is in honor of our guest speaker today...our CMHS Art
teacher...Ms. Bigelow! Ms. Bigelow, what words can you share today?
Words of Wisdom...
Every day, we make many choices. Some choices are very small, like deciding whether to take the chocolate or the vanilla ice cream; and some are very big, like deciding whether to do the right thing or not. Now listen to what American statesman William Jennings Bryan once said:
Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice.
Our destiny is basically our destination in life - where we are headed. Mr. Bryan is saying that our choices determine our final destination ... they determine the outcome of our lives.
If you want to create a successful and happy future, pause for a moment today and ask yourself this: Are my choices taking me in the right direction?
With something to think about, this is Mrs. Bigelow . Make it a great day ... or not. The choice is yours.
