Good morning everyone! We have made it to Thursday and HS students have

electives today! Remember tomorrow is our last day of the first quarter. The end of the quarter is a nice time to get a progress report on how you are doing half way through the first semester!

Hey Syler! I said I would play a Seahawk highlight last week. I decided to make this a more often part of announcements. Last Sunday the Hawks played the 49ers. So

now, here is our Seattle Seahawk Highlight of the Week!

To all Military and Civilian Service parents, please get your Impact Aid Forms back to

us by tomorrow!

We have another announcement from Mrs. Saia and yearbook! Mrs. Saia go ahead!

CMHS Dad Joke of the Day:

Thanks for teaching me the meaning of plethora. It means a lot.

Words of Wisdom...

This is Mr. Kappes with a few words of wisdom.

What does it mean to be a person of character? It means a person that's respected for their honesty, integrity, and moral strength. So where does character come from? Are we born with it? Do we inherit character from our parents?

Listen to the words of former first lady, Eleanor Roosevelt:

People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built.

So what does that mean? It means that every time we think and act in a way that is honest, understanding, and thoughtful, we are building character, thought by thought, action by action.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Kappes. Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.
