Good morning everybody and welcome to 2021! It is a new calendar

year...and the unofficial start to the second half of our school year.

Technically, our first semester ends January 29th, but it has always

seemed like winter break marks our half way point.

I hope these last two weeks gave you a much needed rest, and you are

ready to get back to it. All students today have their live core classes.

Be sure to be checking for our weekly checklists, it

will help keep you on top of your assignments moving forward.

Welcome to 2021 everyone. Let’s all work together to make this a happy,

healthy and successful year.

Starting the year off right...our first

CMHS Dad Joke of the Day for 2021:

One of my New Year's resolutions is to procrastinate.

I haven’t started yet....I'll start tomorrow.

Words of Wisdom...

This is Mr. Kappes with a few words of wisdom.

Welcome back, students, and Happy New Year!

This is the traditional time of year for making New Year's resolutions. When we make resolutions, we set goals for the coming year.

Goals give our lives direction. They help us determine where we are going and how we will get there. When we write down our goals, we are creating a road map into the future.

Today, take the time to write down your goals for the coming year. When you are writing down your goals, remember these words:

Climb high. Climb far. Your goal the sky. Your aim the stars.*

Then, put the list of your goals in a safe place. When you start to get side-tracked or lost, you can pull them out and remember where it is you want to go and how you want to get there.

With something to think about, this is Mr. Kappes . Make it a great day . . . or not. The choice is yours.
